Damnation is by far the most important to this build to manage and top up Mana that the Dusk Mage expends using Unholy Bolt. Thousand-Volt Burst only requires a one-point investment to add a Cast Speed buff that the Dusk Mage will have on reserve when needed, and Light Spear will create burst damage and help the Dusk Mage generate more light bar power. If players want more opportunity to raise their light bar, they will want to substitute Run for Shadow Step. Lightning Barrier will help protect a player when the Dusk Mage becomes surrounded, and Shadow Step will allow them to escape difficult situations. Being heavy hitters with thick armor, this is a powerful class. Players will also want to pick up a few support skills in case the Dusk Mage gets surrounded and to add damage and buffs to already powerful attacks. Entropy can also be used as a cooldown skill, and Conjure Electrode will increase Unholy Bolt's effects. Players do have the option to substitute this for Holy Fury if they'd prefer to have the option to use Harmonic Form more frequently. By juggling light and dark magic, the Dusk Mage is able to empower itself, dealing more damage and boosting mana regen. Magma mace just isnt very useful in this build (damage is based on DPS and this isnt a DPS build - also, this build is too squishy in the higher NG+ and up difficulties, so kiting and blocking with Ice Prison is much better than getting too close to guys). The Dusk Mage is a mage-type class in Torchlight 3. Players will want to grab Radiant Blast if they also take the Brilliant Herald Legendarium passive for a powerful cooldown. Here you go.Just replace skill 2 (Magma Mace) with Frost Wave. I'm still working on diffrent builds for the outlander class so its only a matter of time to find a build I like.īut so for easiest for me has been engie with the heal bot and all the other nice toys in that spec.Unholy Bolt will eventually take the place of the player's basic weapon attack as the primary core skill. In boss fights its real pain in the ass with any adds the boss has, unlike in other games like WoW the pet in this game is not much of a tank for an outlander. You would think so but I find engi to be a bit easier then Outlander, I rolled an Outlander as my second chara and against individual targets outlander is fine, but when you get in those monster pile ups you pretty much have to tuck tail and run, switch to a CC weapon like the shotgun and pray nothings loops behind you or comes from the side. But let's be real, ranged DPS always have the best survivability. And just like all of them, I'll have angry Outlander player now replying and saying how much skill it takes, etc etc etc. Just like in Diablo 3 it was the Demon Hunter. Originally posted by Nacho Chilli Chez:From the looks of it, by best, you mean easiest. she was completely worthless until you found a bow with knockback and high attack speed. you had to be suicidal to select that fragile, ridiculously-low-damage chick. Thus, you may already be so far in that these builds are impossible to use. he was far from easy or noob-friendly, but the hardest was Rogue. By default, Torchlight 2 only allows you to respec your last three skill points (at a steep cost). Speaking of Diablo 1, Sorceror started weakest, but then got Mana Shield + Apocalypse + enough mana to cast both, and became unstoppable even at Hell difficulty.īut you did need to know what you're doing to get to that point, because any monster who got close would own you. I will have to play both classes more, but so far the Outlander doesn't even come close. From the few skills that I have tried so far, Embermage has some ridiculous damage potential. This is an attack-focused hero, ideal for players who want to get up close and personal. If youre looking for a 'first build' to play, consider one of the following Berserker Rehan - Anger. The point I am getting at is it isn't always the bow user, and I don't think Outlander is going to take the title. The following Hero Traits are available to all players when they begin their Torchlight Infinite journey. Sorceress from D2 and Paladin with enigma from D2. In which case, you forgot several examples of games that date farther back. In other words, able to deal the most damage while avoiding the most damage.
